1.2 Photos and Videos
Local Access Only:
- CleanSwipe requires access to your device’s photo and video gallery to function
- We access photos and videos only on your device
- Photos and videos are NEVER uploaded to our servers or any third-party servers
- All photo and video processing happens locally on your device
- We do not store, backup, or transmit your photos/videos anywhere
Permissions Required:
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES (Android 13+) - To view your photosREAD_MEDIA_VIDEO (Android 13+) - To view your videosREAD_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 12 and below) - To access media files
1.3 Photo/Video Deletion
- When you choose to delete photos/videos through CleanSwipe, deletion is performed directly on your device
- We do not keep any record of deleted files
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed by us
- You are responsible for ensuring you have backups of any photos/videos you wish to keep
1.4 Sharing Functionality
When you share images:
- Sharing is done directly through your device’s native sharing capabilities
- We do not intercept, store, or access shared content
- Shared images go directly to the app/service you select (WhatsApp, Instagram, email, etc.)
- We have no control over how third-party services handle your shared content
1.5 Usage Statistics
We collect minimal, anonymous usage data:
- Number of photos/videos processed
- Storage space freed
- Feature usage (which sorting mode you use, etc.)
- This data is stored locally on your device only
- We do not collect or transmit this data to our servers
1.6 Advertising Data
Third-Party Advertising:
- CleanSwipe displays advertisements through third-party advertising networks
- Ad networks may collect certain information automatically, including:
- Device type and model
- Operating system version
- Unique device identifiers (Advertising ID)
- IP address
- App usage data
- General location (city/country level, not precise location)
Ad Personalization:
- Ads may be personalized based on your interests
- You can opt-out of personalized ads through your device settings:

- Settings → Apps → CleanSwipe → Permissions
- Revoking permissions will prevent the app from functioning
5.2 Data Deletion
Local data only:
- All app data (usage statistics, settings) is stored locally
- Uninstalling the app removes all app-related data
- Your photos/videos remain on your device unless you explicitly delete them
5.3 Ad Personalization
Control ad tracking:
- Opt-out of personalized ads through device settings
- Reset your advertising ID

5.4 Do Not Track
- The app does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals
- We do not track you across other apps or websites
6. Children’s Privacy
CleanSwipe is not intended for children under 13:

- We will delete such information immediately
