Privacy Policy — Wega Labs macOS Apps

Effective: July 17, 2026

This policy covers the Wega Labs macOS utilities distributed on the Mac App Store, including Paperwoman, Rest — Gentle Break Coach, Blackout, Clamshell, Charge Guard, Audio Flip, Sound Memory, Menufold, Desk Presets, Sentinel, Spacefinder, Download Janitor, Finder Tools, Rename, and App Out.

The short version

Our apps do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything the app does happens locally on your Mac.

What we don’t do

• No data collection. The apps have no analytics, telemetry, tracking, or crash reporting.
• No network access. With one exception (below), the apps make no network requests of their own and run entirely offline.
• No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and no login.
• No third-party SDKs that receive your data.

The one exception: Spacefinder’s AI advisor

Spacefinder includes an optional AI advisor that only works if you paste in your own API key for a third-party AI service. When you choose to use it, the file metadata you ask about is sent directly from your Mac to that AI provider under your key and their privacy policy — we never see, receive, or store any of it. Skip the feature and Spacefinder is fully offline like every other app.

Purchases

The apps offer an optional one-time “Lifetime” in-app purchase. Payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Purchase state is stored by Apple’s StoreKit on your device and restorable via your Apple Account.

Local data

Settings and trial-usage counters are stored locally on your Mac (in app preferences and the macOS Keychain) and never leave your device. Deleting the app removes its data per standard macOS behavior.
